INTERKONSULT LTD draws on over 30 years of professional experience accumulated by its key staff. Founded in 1996 the firm's core attribute is one of innovative engineering and research. In February 2000, INTERKONSULT began to service its present client base and areas of activity. In 2001, the firm was awarded a grant under the UK Department of Trade and Industry SMART scheme which kickstarted our involvement in research and development to maintain a technological advantage. Since 2007, we have been engaged in collaborative research and development with a number of organisations including the British Geological Survey. Through our collaborative agreement with Gemcom International Inc we have developed a unique modelling capability in our areas of activity. INTERKONSULT has been elected a full member of the Global CCS Institute based in Australia. Its central objective is to accelerate the commercial deployment of carbon capture and storage (CCS) projects to ensure their valuable contribution in reducing carbon dioxide emissions. We join more than 20 national governments and over 80 leading corporations, non-government bodies and research organisations in this aim.
